About SEMBOA
The Southeastern Massachusetts Building Officials Association (SEMBOA) protects the safety of citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by promoting the enforcement of state laws and regulations, local by-laws and ordinances that relate to or regulate the use, construction, or inspection of buildings or other structures.
Our association is based on education and expertise. We host monthly meetings and a yearly two day conference to further education, which is a critical part of advancing industries. Our association maintains harmony between advancements in technology and safety within the built environment.
Together, as one collective voice, we can draft opinions to share with the Massachusetts Federation of Building Officials (MFBO) that lobby for the Commonwealth.
